A Seasonal Mood Board

The first crucial step in crafting your perfect wedding is to guide you through ideas specific to the season in which you'll exchange vows. The fantastic things about flowers is every season is different and with that brings different flowers and foliages. We are here to offer insights into the types of flowers that will be in bloom, ideas for seamlessly integrating various elements into your special day, and suggestions for colour palettes and the diverse textures of flowers and foliage. Sharing images with us is a key part of this creative process - whether it's a snapshot of a captivating garden brimming with diverse flora, an enchanting bouquet discovered on Pinterest, the fabric swatches from your bridesmaids' dresses, or the inspiration behind your invitation design. With a starting point established, we proceed to curate a Seasonal Mood Board meticulously detailing the various components: the seasonal flowers we can incorporate, inventive concepts for your bridal party's flowers—spanning from exquisite bridal bouquets to charming bridesmaids' bouquets and whimsical buttonholes.

Our flowers are sourced from the West Sussex area from a collection of local growers and of course, from our own Cutting Garden at our cottage in West Sussex.

Subsequently, we shift our focus to your chosen wedding venue - be it a picturesque Sussex church, a Sussex Barn, or perhaps a more far-flung destination where you've decided to tie the knot. Rest assured, our passion for travel means we're no stranger to ensuring every wedding setting, even those as far-flung as Devon, is exquisitely styled to perfection. We give you ideas for your ceremony including large installations which we love to create; free-standing half arches, full arches or hanging installations.

We derive immense pleasure from collecting unique items, often embarking on treasure hunts at various antique markets in Sussex and venturing to our beloved Shepton Flea Market in Somerset each month. It's an early start, but the rewards are unparalleled, as we uncover incredible treasures to style your wedding venue. From vintage milk churns and antique ladders for hanging installations, to repurposed doors for a one-of-a-kind table plan, and an array of vintage tableware, our discoveries are bound to enhance the ambiance of your special day.

Our calendar for 2024 is filling up rapidly, but we still have available dates for weddings. Additionally, we are now accepting bookings for 2025 weddings and events. If your venue is among our favorites in West Sussex, such as Upwatham Barns, Fitzleroi Barns, Farbridge Barns, Cowdray House, Grittenham Barns, Two Fields in Pulborough, or Rumbolds Farm, we can offer tailored advice and guide you through the process while recommending suitable props from our collection.

We would love to hear from you and if just want to contact us for some advice we are here!
